L&M safely completed the construction of a new state-of-the-art culinary arts and science academy, two- story science and general studies classroom buildings, a new gymnasium, and new site improvements including walks, fire access roads, lighting, and landscaping. During construction, the high school remained an occupied campus with over 3,000 students. L&M removed existing portables for new construction as well as providing program development, preparation of bid documents, preconstruction services, bid phase, field construction supervision and management, project close-out, and coordination with DSA and the Project Inspector. This academy was constructed with safety being a priority and L&M worked with the District to develop safe paths-of-travel for the students, staff, and community. This project opened safely on time and budget.
