This new middle school was part of the overall Facilities Master Plan of three new adjoining school sites consisting of a new high school, middle school, and elementary school. This school site adjoins the new Shadow Hills High School. Through project coordination and constructability reviews with the design professionals, the project budgets were met upon the initial bidding of the project. Cost control measures were implemented throughout the course of construction which resulted in a net overall deductive change order rate of (-1.55%).
